December 12th Advent Devotional
December 12 Revelation 21:1-5 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and be their God; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” And the one who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.” -Revelation 21:3-5a


December 11th Advent Devotional
December 11 Psalm 124 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. -Psalm 124:8 Psalms 120-134 are called Songs of Ascent. These were songs sung as the people went up to Jerusalem to worship. The presence of God was in the Temple. Psalm 124 was written by David as a song of thanksgiving, because God had delivered the people. It could also be called a Song of Descent, since God came down to Earth to save mankind. Advent
