Brent is married to Martha Williams Greene, a native of New Orleans, and they have three children—Bryanna (13), Ray (10) and Hailey (9).  Brent was ordained to the gospel ministry by the First Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, NC in 2002 and previously served as an associate staff member at other North Carolina churches including First Baptist Church, Weaverville (1999-2001) and Balfour Baptist Church, Asheboro (1994-1996).

Brent holds the Master’s of Divinity from The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1999) and a Bachelor of Science In Education from Appalachian State University.  He also holds a Graduate Certification in Non-Profit Management from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2014).

Brent and Martha have served as host parents to Belarusian children visiting the United States for medical care along with serving as foster parents prior to the adoption of their three children in 2009. In recent years, Brent has served as an Exceptional Children's Assistance Center IEP Parent Partner helping families who need assistance with the IEP process along with serving as Board Member of Smart Start of Forsyth County.

For fun, Brent enjoys playing tennis, singing in the choir or an ensemble, making his kids laugh, and going out on lunch dates with Martha.

Brent will begin his ministry with us on April 1, 2015.
